The petitioner is in custody in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 814 of 2018 for the offence under Section 25 (1B) A 26/35 of the Arms Act. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the allegation against this petitioner is that he was along with persons who demanded extortion of Rs.2,00,000/ (Rs. Two lakhs) from the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that petitioner is in custody since 12.11.2018 and nothing was recovered from the possession of this petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has remained

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14192 of 2019(2) dt.07-03-2019 2/2 in custody for nearly four months, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Let, the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- ( rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court of Learned C.J.M., East Muzaffarpur in connection with Nagar, P.S. Case No. 814 of 2018, subject to the conditions that bailors should be family members of the petitioner.
