If what is stated by the petitioner is correct then it is very unfortunate that despite the direction given by the Commissioner, Munger Division, Munger, vide letter dated 6.8.2013 and again vide Annexure 4 dated 11.12.2013 which remanding the matter to dispose of the petitioner's application for grant of firearms licence, no decision has been taken as yet as being claimed by the petitioner.
Accordingly, the District Magistrate - cum - licensing authority, Begusarai is directed to take a final decision on the application filed by the petitioner on its own merit and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the
Patna High Court CWJC No.6840 of 2016 (3) dt.26-04-2016 2/2 date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, if the same has already not been done.
This disposes of the writ application.
