JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 19-12-2022 Though, the present writ petition has been filed for directing the District Magistrate, Gopalganj to consider the application of the petitioner for grant of arms license, however, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent-State has produced an order dated 16.09.2022, passed in Arms License Case No. 02 of 2022, whereby and whereunder the application of the petitioner for grant of arms license has been rejected. In such view of the matter, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the aforesaid order dated 16.09.2022, by filing appropriate appeal. Liberty so sought is granted. It is needless to state that in case appropriate appeal is filed by the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from today,

Patna High Court CWJC No.4552 of 2022(2) dt.19-12-2022 2/2 the same shall be considered on merits and disposed off by the Appellate Authority by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks, thereafter. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
