2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Jurawanpur P.S. Case No. 229 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 137(2) and 96 of the B.N.S.

3.The prosecution case is to the effect that the informant in his written report has alleged that his daughter, Payal Kumari, had gone out when the named accused persons, including this petitioner, are stated to have kidnapped his daughter.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits

No.13229 of 2025(4) dt.29-04-2025 2/3 that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case merely because he happens to be the father of one co-accused Lalu Rai. He further submits that there was a love affair between one Nitish Kumar, coaccused, and the daughter of the informant, and they had fled together out of the own free will of the victim girl.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that there is nothing on record to connect the petitioner with the aforesaid allegations, and even taking the allegations on face value, there is nothing alleged against the petitioner.

6. Learned counsel for the informant, as well as the learned APP for the State, has opposed the prayer for bail and has alleged that the petitioner is the father of the said Lalu Rai, who, in connivance with Nitish Kumar, has taken away the victim girl, the daughter of the informant.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and especially taking into account that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner, as well as the fact that nothing has come during the course of

No.13229 of 2025(4) dt.29-04-2025 3/3 investigation to connect the petitioner with the aforesaid incident, and that the petitioner is in jail since 26.12.2024, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur, in connection with Jurawanpur P.S. Case No. 229 of 2024.
