The petitioner is accused in connection with Parbatta P.S. Case No. 420 of 2017 (G.R.No. 3469 of 2017), registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The accusation is of recovery of 14 bottles, each containing 750 ML India made foreign liquor concealing in the hut made for keeping the wheat struck.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would appear from the F.I.R. that the seized liquor was not recovered from the house of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 14.12.2017.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17152 of 2018(2) dt.29-03-2018 2/2 case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Sessions Judge-III-cum-Special Judge (Excise), Khagaria in connection with Parbatta P.S. Case No. 420 of 2017.
