The petitioner has been in custody since 29.10.2017 in connection with Bihta P.S. Case No. 609 of 2016 for the offence registered under Sections 419, 420, 465, 468, 471, 506, 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State, it appears that the forged appointment letters were being prepared by one Rajesh Singh, who is said to have been handing over such letters and the only allegation against the present petitioner is that he was also known to the said Rajesh Singh. He further submits that there is no recovery from the possession of the petitioner.
