The issue was decided by the Division Bench of this Court in LPA No. 167 of 2016 vide oral judgment dated 23.06.2017.

In order to maintain consistency, the writ petition is

Patna High Court CWJC No.4173 of 2020(2) dt.27-02-2020 2/2 disposed of with a direction to the respondents to examine the claim of the petitioners in the light of the decision rendered by the Division Bench in LPA No. 167 of 2016 dated 23.6.2017 and the circular of the Finance Department, Government of Bihar dated 7.12.2018 (Annexure-16) and take appropriate decision with regard to the claim of the petitioners within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

It goes without saying that whatever the consequential benefits that must reach the petitioners within the time frame indicated hereinabove.
