JUSTICE KISHORE KUMAR MANDAL ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 05-08-2016 Heard Mr. Mithilesh Kumar Jha, for the petitioner and Mrs. Binita Singh for the respondent Bihar School Examination Board ( in short „Board‟).

In the light of previous order(s) a supplementary affidavit on behalf of the respondents 2 to 4 is filed. The respondents in paragraph 6 have stated as under :

"That it was in the said circumstances, particularly in view of the order dated 01.07.2016 passed by this Hon‟ble Court that it was decided to make necessary correction in the date of birth as 02.04.1973 replying upon the entries made in the original receipt of registration and the duplicate school leaving certificate".

Patna High Court CWJC No.20945 of 2013 dt.05-08-2016 The writ application prays for correction in the date of birth of the petitioner incorporated in the matriculation certificate issued by the respondent Board.

The counsel for the petitioner states that if there is any difficulty in doing so presenting the original certificate he shall apply for the duplicate certificate annexing the affidavit with regard to missing of the original certificate. Once the petitioner does so, the respondent authority of the Board shall take appropriate steps as provided under its regulation for issuing a duplicate certificate with corrected date of birth within three weeks from the completion of the formalities in this regard.

Writ application is disposed off.
