JUSTICE CHANDRA SHEKHAR JHA ORAL ORDER 19-08-2025 This is the second successive bail petition of the petitioner after rejection of his first bail petition by one of the learned co-ordinate Bench of this Court through Cr. Misc. No.52888 of 2024 dated 04.10.2024.

2. A report was called for from the learned trial court regarding the stage of trial, which received to this Court through Letter No. 219 of 2025 dated 11.08.2025.

3. The aforesaid report speaks that this matter is now fixed for recording the statement of accused under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. All six prosecution witnesses have been examined in this matter.

4. Considering the aforesaid fact, as trial of this case is at its fag end, the present successive petition of petitioner is also rejected.

5. As accused/petitioner remains in custody since 14.03.2024, therefore, the learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within two months of receiving of this order, as already timeline prescribed under Section 35(2) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act appears crossed.

6. With aforesaid, the present petition stands disposed of.
