In the case, the petitioner is seeking relief that instead of Rural Home-guard, which is temporary in nature, he should be given a post of permanent nature.

The father of the petitioner was a Home-guard Constable, he died on duty during the Vidhan Sabha election, 2010 and the petitioner, having been appointed as a Rural Home-guard, makes a prayer for his appointment on permanent post.

Let the petitioner should file a representation before the Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna, who will consider
