Petitioner being the Panchayat Secretary is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the informant applied for employment as Anganwari Sevika, but his application was not put up before the Aam Sabha for consideration and some other lady was appointed.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner was transferred from the panchayat in questions long ago and he was not aware about the filing of the case.

Considering the nature of accusation, let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20491 of 2015 (2) dt.01-05-2015 petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Sour Bazar P.S. Case No. 138 of 2007, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saharsa. With this observation this application is disposed of.
