The petitioners claim that they have acquired title over the land in question, as described in paragraph 1 of the writ application, which, according to them, was orally settled in favour of their ancestors by the Ex-landlord and they have remained in continuous possession for more than 30 years. They

Patna High Court CWJC No.6229 of 2019(3) dt.03-04-2019 2/2 are seeking direction to the respondents to declare their title on that basis and payment of amount of compensation on its acquisition in the year 2016, for construction of approach road of Daudnagar-Nasriganj Son bridge.

Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners has submitted that the matter is still pending to be decided by the Additional Collector, Aurangabad, after a remand order passed by the Collector, Aurangabad, vide order, dated 08.12.2017, passed in Land Acquisition (Misc.) Case Nos. 69 and 70 of 2017.

Considering the nature of grievance, which the petitioners have raised, this application is disposed of with the observation that if the matter is still pending before the Additional Collector, Aurangabad, the same must be decided within a period of six months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
