JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 29-09-2015 The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents Board to return/adjust Rs.1,86,397/- deposited by him against Consumer account no. 177281, which is in the name of his deceased wife.
The petitioner submits that the respondents raided his flour mill premises and raised a punitive bill of Rs.1, 86,397/- alleging energy theft, by tampering the meter. Gardanibagh Police station Case No. 54 of 2013 was also lodged under section 135 of the Electricity Act in this respect. In the facts of the case, the petitioner should file his objection before respondent no.4 under section 126 of the Electricity Act, who would dispose of the same in accordance
