The petitioner's grievance is that after rejection of his application for grant of licence for N.P. bore pistol/revolver, he approached the Commissioner, Patna Division, Patna by preferring Appeal No.164/2010 which was allowed along with several appeals and the matter was remitted back to the Licensing Authority vide Annexure-2 dated 24.01.2012 for taking a fresh decision in the matter, however, it is contended that thereafter, the matter has remained pending though more than four years have elapsed.

Patna High Court CWJC No.5502 of 2016 (2) dt.04-04-2016 2/2 Accordingly, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate-cum-Licensing Authority, Patna to take a final decision in the matter in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
