The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 44 of 2015, registered under Sections 498A, 379, 323, 341 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The accusation is of torturing of the informant, Kanchan Kumari, by her husband and in-laws for nonfulfillment of demand of dowry and removing her from matrimonial house snatching her personal belongings causing assault.
Submission is that the petitioner is the husband of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13867 of 2020(2) dt.03-03-2020 2/2 informant and is in custody since 07.12.2019. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 44 of 2015 to the satisfaction of the Subdivisional Judicial Magistrate, Nawadah.
