2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 218 of 2020 registered for the offence under Sections 406, 409, 420, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and others are accused of doing irregularity in the construction of lane drainage under Gali Naali Pakkikaran Yojana.

4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the other co-accused persons namely Badri Narayan, Lalit Sardar, Dinesh Sardar, Hadeni Devi and Triloki Ram have been granted bail by this Court.

5. The petitioner is in custody since 24.12.2023.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Supaul/ concerned Court below in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 218 of 2020/ G.R. No. 1607 of 2020.
