Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

According to FIR, the petitioner and another accused are alleged to have escorting the vehicle carrying huge quantity of liquor. The petitioner is in custody since 10.10.2017 and has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. Submission is of false implication on suspicion. Considering the aforesaid submission, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5277 of 2018 (2) dt.01-02-2018 2/2 where the case is pending in connection with Neema Chandpura Police Station Case No. 70 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
