a. For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the decision of the District Selection Committee
8/10 dated 05.03.2016 held under the Chairmanship of the District Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram, by which it has been decided to hold an eligibility test afresh for all those Executive Assistants, who have been empanelled in the year 2015 and further it has been decided that those who will fail in the said test, they will be removed from their services.
b. For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the decision of the Enquiry Committee as contained in Memo no. 625 dated 12.03.2016 by which it has been decided to hold written as well as Computer typing test afresh and the date for examination for eligibility test of Executive Assistants have been fixed for 28.03.2016 and 29.03.2016.
c. For issuance of an appropriate writ holding the decision of the aforesaid committees to be wholly arbitrary, malafide, illegal, without

d. For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents to pay the current as well as arrears of salary of the petitioner nos. 40 to 71 as per their terms of employment, as they are working on the said post since the date of their initial appointment.
e. For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents to give the place of posting to the petitioner nos. 74 to 118 as though they are in the select panel list but till date they have not been given the place of posting though there are still vacant post in the Department where there is
10/10 requirement of Executive Assistant and now they are also being asked to appear in the eligibility test of Executive Assistants which have been fixed for 28.03.2016 and 29.03.2016."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
