The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That present application is directed against the order issued vide memo no. 2771 dated 12/10/2022 issued under signature of District Magistrate, Patna whereby and whereunder the arms license bearing no. 296/1982 has been issued in the name of petitioner has been suspended and also directed to the petitioner to deposit the arms on the wrong fact."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the order

Patna High Court CWJC No.3584 of 2023(2) dt.03-10-2023 2/2 dated 12.10.2022, passed by the District Magistrate, Patna by filing appeal. Liberty so sought is granted.

It is needless to state that in case appropriate appeal is filed, within a period of four weeks from today, the appellate authority shall consider the same and pass a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
