Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 120B, 201 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioner is in custody since 22.09.2017. Allegation is of commission of death for dowry of his wife for non-fulfillment of dowry demand. The paternal family members of the deceased have supported the allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same before death. Whereas some other witnesses stated that for trivial dispute with her husband, the victim went to the railway track and committed suicide for which U.D. case was registered by the railway initially. No.11447 of 2018 (3) dt.16-04-2018 2/2 petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Simultalla Police Station Case No. 09 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
