2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 385, 354, 354(A), 354(D), 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, informant went to attend the wedding of her relatives with her daughter where this petitioner took obscene photos of her daughter and later on, used them to pressurize the family of the informant to solemnize marriage of daughter of the informant with him otherwise he would make those photographs viral.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner denies the prosecution case and submits that as a matter of fact, father of

No.17456 of 2024(3) dt.02-05-2024 2/2 the petitioner had lent Rs. 50,000/- to the informant and on the occasion of marriage of a relative, when father of the petitioner demanded his money back, informant got infuriated and lodged this false and concocted case against the petitioner. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, POCSO-cum-ADJ-VI, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Nautan (Jagdishpur) P. S. Case No. 372 of 2023, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
