JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 08-07-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the informant. The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 307, 387, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

The prosecution case in short is that the accused persons demanded rangdari from the informant and on denial fired at him due to which he sustained injury. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 5.11.2018. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. Charge-sheet has been submitted in the present case. The petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. Due to previous enmity, the petitioner has been made accused.

On behalf of the State and the informant, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R. The petitioner had demanded rangdari and on refusal he fired causing fire arms injury on the left arm. The petitioner has criminal antecedents.

Considering the same, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner in connection with Halsi P.S. Case No. 163/2018. Prayer is rejected at this stage.
