The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted Shahanshah Khan with iron rod on his head and hand.

It is submitted that the doctor opined that the injuries of Shahnshah Khan were caused by sharp cut weapon whereas the petitioner is said to have assaulted with iron rod. It is further submitted that there is a counter version and the son of the petitioner also got grievous injury.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner is alleged to have assaulted Shahanshah Khan causing

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15438 of 2016 (2) dt.29-04-2016 2/2 grievous injuries on his head and hand, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
