JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 26-05-2022 Heard Mr. Ajay Mukherjee, learned Advocate for the petitioners and the learned APP for the State. The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Banka (Barahat) P.S. Case No. 848 of 2020 dated 15.10.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 325, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioners are said to have assaulted the victims on the dispute over fetching of water from the hand-pump. The injuries suffered by the victims are reported to be simple in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25687 of 2021(2) dt.26-05-2022 2/2 nature. There is a counter version of the occurrence also. It appears that both the sides have clashed over a minor dispute, which has left many persons injured but the injuries are simple on both sides.

Considering the afore-noted background facts, the petitioners are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Banka in connection with Banka (Barahat) P.S. Case No. 848 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
