Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is driver of the vehicle used for transportation of the liquor.

The petitioner is in custody since 19.02.2018 in connection with Islampur P.S. Case No. 51 of 2018 for the offence under section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition Excise Act, 2016. The petitioner was apprehended on 18.2.2018. He has remained in jail for more than two and half months. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Considering the above, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25983 of 2018(2) dt.30-04-2018 2/2 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Spl. Judge, Excise Act, Nalanda at Biharsharif, in connection with Islampur P.S. Case No. 51 of 2018 on the condition that the bailors should be family members of the petitioner.
