2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Bahadurpur P.S. Case No. 514 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per allegation, the petitioner along with co-accused persons was involved in looting the pick-up van bearing no. BR09M-6404. When the informant was going to Ojhol bridge, three miscreants stopped his way and pointed pistol on the informant. On protest, the accused persons assaulted him.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He is a person of clean antecedent. Nothing was recovered from his possession. His name has figured in confessional statement of coaccused Ganpati Choudhary.

5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, especially the clean antecedent of the petitioner, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate FC, Darbhanga in connection with Bahadurpur P.S. Case No. 514 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

(i) After accepting the bail bond, the learned court below shall verify the criminal antecedent of the petitioner. If it is found that he is involved in any other case except the present one, his bail bond shall liable to be cancelled.
