JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 11-04-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner seeks direction to the respondent no.2, the District Arms Magistrate, Buxar to renew his arms licence for D.B.B.L. gun which was issued by the District Magistrate, Sangrur (Punjab) and was valid till 31.12.2001.

It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that he has obtained the licence while he was in service of Indian Army but his licence has not been renewed since the year 2001 despite several representations having been filed.
