Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 469, 471 of the Indian Penal Code.
Petitioner is not named in the first information report. It appears that name of petitioner came in this case when he was arrested in Teghra P.S. Case No. 359 of 2019 in which he made his confessional statement disclosing his involvement in the present case.
No doubt, petitioner has been made accused in near about 25 cases of similar nature but submission on behalf of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20779 of 2020(5) dt.02-12-2020 2/2 petitioner is that all the above stated cases were registered against unknown and petitioner was made accused in those cases without any cogent material. Moreover, investigation of this case has already been completed and except the so-called confessional statement, there is nothing against the petitioner. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Barauni P.S. Case No. 406 of 2019.
