The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 346 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) & 38 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 50 liters of illicit cough syrup containing Codeine from an Alto car and the petitioner is said to be the owner of the said Alto car. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case.
