2. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 21(c)/29 of the NDPS Act which was earlier rejected by this Court vide order dated 22.8.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 65022 of 2022 with a direction to trial court to conclude the trial at the earliest.

4. In compliance of order dated 13.3.2024, a progress report dated 18.3.2024 has been received from which it appears that it will take four months to conclude the trial.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that trial has not been concluded as yet. He further submits that petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 31.5.2022.

6. No fresh ground is made out for reconsideration of the bail application of the petitioner. In that view of the matter, this application stands disposed off.

7. The learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of four months positively, failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) sushma/- U
