1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.I. To issue a writ(s) mandamus in nature directing the respondents authorities specially the Superintendent of Police East Champaran, Motihari to enter the name of petitioner's wife namely Gyatri Devi who is wife of petitioner in the service record of the petitioner, who was married to petitioner in the year 1990 and living with petitioner till date. II. To direct to the respondent no 4 to enter name of Gyatri Devi as nominee in the service record of petitioner in place of Raj Pati Devi as nominee in Pension Paper order issued by the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna as Raj Pati Devi died on

Patna High Court CWJC No.4962 of 2024(2) dt.18-04-2024 2/2 15.05.2021.

III. To appropriate writ order or direction to the respondents authorities to enter name of Gyatri Devi, wife of petitioner who was married to him in the year 1990.

IV. To direct the respondents to enter the name of Gyatri Devi in the service record as nominee of the petitioner who has been already retired from Bihar Police Service on 31.06.2015.In the District East Champaran, Motihari."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate representation is filed by the petitioner, before the Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
