Petitioner apprehends his arrest in Makhdumpur P.S. Case No.06 of 2019, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
The S.H.O., Makhdumpur got secret information that Manoj Kumar had kept liquor in his house and on such, house of Manoj Kumar situated in village Malahi was searched and huge quantity of Indian made foreign liquor of different brands was recovered. Manoj Kumar is said to have disclosed the names of the petitioner Anant Gopal and Gaurav Kumar and further disclosed that they had kept the liquor in the house. It appears that it was Manoj Kumar from whose house huge quantity of liquor was recovered but nothing was recovered from the house of the petitioner. The name of the

Of course, the petitioner has got criminal antecedent and three cases are registered against him under the Excise Act but in view of the fact that nothing has been recovered from possession of the petitioner, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Jehanabad in connection with Makhdumpur P.S. Case No.06 of 2019, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
