The present writ application has been filed for the following relief/s:

(i) For directing the respondent authorities to pay the arrear of salary to the petitioner no.1 for the period of September, 1987 to February, 1997 of Rs.2,05,314 and for the period of April, 1997 to February, 2018 of Rs.8,40,947/- (total Rs.10,46,261/-) and petitioner no.2 for the period

Patna High Court CWJC No.4457 of 2022(3) dt.06-05-2024 2/3 of September, 1987 to February, 1997 of Rs.2,05,314 and for the period of April, 1997 to February, 2018 of Rs.8,40,947/- (total Rs.10,46,261) including the interest at the rate of 18% per annum on the amount of arrear.

(ii) For directing the respondent authorities to pay arrear of P.F. of Rs.2,02,130/- to the petitioners for the period of September, 1987 to February, 1997 and for April, 1997 to February, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have filed a detailed representation before the Registrar of the University (respondent no.4) but till date, the representation has not been disposed of.

Considering this fact, the petitioners are directed to file a fresh representation before the respondent no.4 enclosing the documents in support of their grievance, within a period of two weeks and the respondent no.4 is well advised to consider the said representation and pass a reasoned and speaking order, in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners or their counsels, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the representation of the petitioners.

Let it be made clear that if the order is not complied

Patna High Court CWJC No.4457 of 2022(3) dt.06-05-2024 3/3 with, the respondent no.4 shall be held responsible for noncompliance of the order of this Court. 6.
