The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Hathauri P.S. Case No.180 of 2017 registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code besides Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The accusation is that on receiving secret information about selling the illicit liquor by the petitioner, the informant along with the other police officials searched the hut of the petitioner and seized 7 bottles, each containing 750 ml. Indian Made Foreign Liquor, and 7 bottles, each containing 180 ml. Indian Made Foreign Liquor from there.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7384 of 2018 (2) dt.08-02-2018 2/2 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody since 19.12.2017.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Hathauri P.S. Case No.180 of 2017.
