15-06-2015 Heard Md. Najmul Hoda, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. The petitioner, who is husband of the complainant, apprehends his arrest in Complaint Case No. 968 of 2010 registered for the offence under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, has prayed for grant of bail.
In this case, the order of cognizance was passed in the year 2011 itself and now the petitioner has prayed for grant of anticipatory bail.
I do not find any ground to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail.
The petition stands dismissed.
