JUSTICE HEMANT GUPTA ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 17-09-2016 The petitioner was initially engaged as daily wage worker on 31.12.1980 but his services was regularized on 22.10.1984. The subsistence grievance of the petitioner is that though the amount of GPF and other retiral benefits after regularization of his service has been paid to him, but the GPF amount of Rs. 24,642/- prior to regularization is yet to be paid.

In the counter affidavit, the stand of the respondents is that the said amount has been paid to the District Treasury, Motihari, under the head 8782, but the same amount should have been

Therefore, there is some delay in making payment of GPF amount of Rs. 24,642/- prior to regularization of the services of the petitioner. In view of the limited controversy, the present writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to correct the Head of deposit of the GPF amount of Rs. 24,642/- and make payment of the said amount to the petitioner within one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
