The petitioner has been in custody since 13.10.2017 in connection with Halsi P.S. Case No. 57/2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 392 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner is not named in the First Information Report, his name has surfaced in the confessional statement made before the Police by one Sikandar Sao which has no evidentiary value. He further submits that till date, there is no T.I. Parade nor has the motorcycle been recovered from his possession. In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances and that the petitioner has already been in jail for the past three months, let the petitioner above named, be released
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5589 of 2018 (2) dt.01-02-2018 2/2 on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-III, Lakhisarai, in connection with Halsi P.S. Case No. 57/2017.
