The petitioners seek bail in Excise Complaint Case No.09 of 2020, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

While the petitioners were travelling in a bus, a raid was conducted. From possession of Laddu Mandal, petitioner no.1, 27 litres of liquor was recovered, from possession of Anand Bhagat, petitioner no.2, 17 litres of country made liquor and from possession of Pappu Bhagat, petitioner no.3, 15 litres of liquor was recovered and for that the petitioners have remained in jail for a month.
