Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 398, 399, 402, 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

Two miscreants were apprehended on suspicion that they were preparing to commit dacoity. They disclosed name of the petitioner.

Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent and the arrested person has already been allowed bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 12.01.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 257 of 2018. Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6755 of 2018 (2) dt.06-02-2018 2/2 named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Dhamdaha Police Station Case No. 239 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
