The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate Writ or Writs directing the respondents particularly respondent no. 5 and 6 not to make any back-door appointment on Class III and IV posts in Municipal Corporation without advertising the same and to appoint the suitable candidate for the said post after taking recourse to the provisions of Municipal Laws as well as Services Rules and/or to grant any other

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though with the efflux of time, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous, however, the petitioner be granted liberty to agitate his subsisting grievance, if any, in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off, however, with the aforesaid liberty.
