The petitioners are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code.
Prosecution case is that the petitioners received Rs.1250/- as diesel subsidy on the basis of forged rent receipt of the land.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that petitioners never claimed the diesel subsidy nor they have received any amount of subsidy. In fact, it has been made by someone else. However, the petitioners are ready to deposit Rs.1250/- each before the learned court below which will be
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14263 of 2016 (2) dt.01-04-2016 2/2 subject to result of the case.
On deposit of Rs.1250/- each, let the above named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of `10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Nawada, in connection with Narhat P.S. Case No.144/2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
The above amount on deposit will be invested in some fixed deposit scheme in connection with the present case and the same will be subject to the result of the case. (Dinesh Kumar Singh, J) Ashwini/- U T
