2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bhitaha P.S. Case No. 22 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8, 20(b)(II)(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (N.D.P.S. Act).

3. As per the prosecution case, 50.500 Kg of ganja has been recovered from the roof of the house of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. The petitioner is in jail since 19.02.2023.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the huge recovery, I am not inclined to

7. Accordingly, this application stands dismissed.

8. The Court below is directed to expedite the trial.

9. If the trial is delayed, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
