Petitioner is in custody in connection with Mansi P.S. Case No. 172 of 2018 for the offence under section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He submits that the FIR was lodged against unknown. The informant has alleged that his bag containing Rs. 20,000/- was snatched by unknown three miscreants and only on suspicion the petitioner has been made accused in the instant case. He was a rickshaw puller and from his possession a mobile was seized and only on failure to provide sim number he has been roped in the instant case. Petitioner is in custody since 24.12.2018.

Case No. 172 of 2018.
