Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Gopalganj Mahila P.S. Case No. 25/2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341/323/498(A)/354/420/ 406/509/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Perused the report of learned Mediator dated 21.04.2022.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24719 of 2021(4) dt.16-05-2022 2/2 It appears from the perusal of the aforementioned report that the dispute between the parties could not be resolved through the process of Mediation. In the result, the mediation failed.

In view of the report of the learned Mediator and also in view of the judgment passed in the case of Arnesh Kumar Vs. State of Bihar reported in (2014) 8 SCC 273, the present anticipatory bail application is allowed.

Accordingly, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Gopalganj, in connection with Gopalganj Mahila P.S. Case No. 25/2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
