JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 19-08-2017 Heard Sri Prabhat Kumar Singh, learned counsel, assisted by Sri Pramod Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioners and Smt. Rita Verma, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. Two petitioners, who are in custody since 18.05.2017 in Ujiarpur P.S. Case No.82 of 2017 registered for the offence under Sections 272, 273, 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a)/47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2017, have prayed for grant of bail.

By way of referring to the statement made in paragraph-3 of the petition, it was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that petitioners are having clean antecedent and they have been falsely implicated in the present case on an

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39445 of 2017 (2) dt.19-08-2017 2/2 allegation of recovery of one cartoon, containing 12 bottles of Indian Make Foreign Liquor, carrying on the motorcycle and they have been apprehended.

Considering the nature of accusation, clean antecedent as well as period of custody, let both petitioners, namely, (i) Pravin Kumar and (ii) Ranjeet Kumar Singh @ Ranjeet Prasad Singh be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-( ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J. VIth -cumSpecial Judge, Excise Act, Samastipur in connection with Ujiarpur P.S. Case No.82/2017.
