Case No. 61 of 2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a), 36 of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

A total of 345.780 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from two places, majorly from the bolero vehicle which is said to be driven by the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the place of recovery is very close to the field belonging to the petitioner and he has falsely been

Regard being had to the nature of accusation and the period of custody of the petitioner which is from 18.01.2020 as also the fact that petitioner does not have criminal antecedent, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousands) with sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur in connection with Ahiyapur P.S. Case No. 61 of 2020.
