This is the second attempt on behalf of the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with Islampur P.S. Case No.131 of 2025 registered for the offence under sections 126(2), 127(2), 115(2), 109, 352, 351(3) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023. 3.

Earlier, the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail has been rejected by this Court vide order dated 14.10.2025 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No.70919 of 2025.

The petitioner and others are said to have assaulted the victim causing injuries.

The petitioner is in custody since 16.06.2025.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16831 of 2026(4) dt.02-07-2026 2/2 the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and there is delay in lodging the F.I.R. 7.

Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail. 8.

Considering the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner and also his period of custody, which is from 16.06.2025, this bail application is allowed. 9.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-I, Hilsa Nalanda / concerned Court below, in connection with Islampur P.S. Case No.131 of 2025.

It is, however, clarified that the observations made herein are limited to the adjudication of the present bail application and shall not prejudice the case of the petitioner at any subsequent stage of the trial and this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
