2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Ujiyarpur P.S. Case No. 374 of 2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, informant's wife had been killed by unknown persons.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence as alleged in the first information report. The F.I.R. has been lodged against unknown. The name of this petitioner has surfaced on basis of confessional statement of co-accused

No.19881 of 2024(3) dt.16-07-2024 2/3 Sheela Devi @ Lakki Devi and except the confessional statement of the co-accused, there is nothing on record to connect the petitioner with the alleged offence. It is further submitted that during course of investigation, in possession of Sheela Devi two contact number was recovered and none of the contact number was associated with the petitioner. Learned counsel submits that it is reliably learnt that petitioner was plying auto in Ranchi for near-about 10 years and he has been falsely implicated in this case at the behest of local Mukhiya. Petitioner has nothing to do with the alleged occurrence. No incriminating article has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. No one had ever seen the petitioner with the deceased. Petitioner bears no criminal antecedent.

5. The learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, keeping in view clean antecedent of the petitioner, argument advanced on behalf of both sides and the materials available on record, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the
