Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 467, 468, 471, 406, 419 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

The FIR would reveal that the informant had himself attempted to get backdoor entry in public appointment and for that had paid bribe on inducement of the petitioner. The informant cannot take protection of law for his illegality. Moreover, the petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent.

Hence, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10454 of 2018 (3) dt.11-04-2018 2/2 satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Paraiya Police Station Case No. 164 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
