A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the State. It is stated that the petitioners are merely trying to obstruct the construction of boundary wall around the pond which is required for its beautification. It is further stated that there is no road/Rasta over the pond which is situated over Plot No.1379 rather a Pucca road is there adjacent to the boundary of the pond on the portion of Plot No.1378 and, thus, that road is not going to be blocked in any manner.

Time was granted to the petitioners on 15.07.2016 after filing of the counter affidavit. Again by way of last indulgence, the matter was adjourned on 22.07.2016. However, today none appears on behalf of the petitioners.

Accordingly, this writ application is dismissed for want of prosecution.
